Anne Noble-Partridge | The Monocle Cat

This project would not have been possible without an enormous amount of dedication and endurance from our key team. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our key collaborators from London Drawing - Anne Noble Partridge and David Price; our visual documenter Jason Barker; our project assistants Nic Lawrence and Jamie Pallas, our volunteers Chryssy Hunter, as well as our interns Dylan Ogorek and Sophie Lund-Hansen as well of course a huge thank you to the eight life models who posed for our participants.

On Thursday night I worked as a Tutor/Artist for London Drawing at a private event at the clothes store Esprit on Regent Street. The event marked the launch of 3 collections from RCA students Julia Mackenroth, Ryan Mercer and Rachael Hall. The guests were treated to a fashion show/performance and a series of six short artistic workshops that played on the idea of traditional games and craft. The concept was thought up by Anne Noble Partridge and David Price, the duo behind London Drawing. The overall concept for the event was themed around the illustrative work of Andy Rementer, an unexpectedely playful choice for Esprit. They seem to be doing a good job at reinventing and investing in their brand.
