Bible Stories for Kids - Jesus Loves the Little Children
Scripture - Matthew 19:1-15, Mark 10:13-16, Luke 18:15-17.

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it (Proverbs 22:6).

One day Jesus was sitting around with His disciples resting. Some children and their parents came to see Jesus. The disciples thought Jesus needed to rest so they told the parents to take their children away and not to bother Jesus.

Jesus heard what His disciples were doing. He said to the disciples. Let the children come to Me. Do not stop them! Anyone who comes to God must come as a little child. Anyone who does not do that cannot get into the kingdom of God.

Jesus called the little children to come to Him. He lifted them up on His lap and wrapped His arms around them. He placed His hands upon them and began to bless them. Jesus wanted them to know about God’s love and how much He loved the little children. If you’d like to share God’s love with the children of the world, there are a number of wonderful . Bible Stories for Kids - Telling the Truth - God’s Story of Instruction, Truth, Discipline, and Love
The person who presents Bible stories to kids becomes a living Bible for them and leaves a lasting impression about God.

Bible truths in story form should be presented in such a way as to:When sharing Bible stories with kids, be sure to include the big picture.
God has always been and will always be. He created the planet earth and the animals to live on the earth. Then He created man for His pleasure and a wife as a helpmate for man. Then humans made the big mistake by disobeying God. Sin entered the world. God already had a plan to prepare humans to live with Him forever.

God knows each of us; even before we are born. He speaks to us through His Word and we talk to Him as we pray. God wants us to listen, believe, obey, and serve. He wants us to worship and praise Him and to realize that He is a big God. He will help us to believe, strengthen us to obey and serve, and give us the faith to follow Him.

The Bible is all about God’s love for His creation. He loved us so much He sent His only son, Jesus, to save us from our sin problem. Jesus died, was buried, and rose again so you can live forever with Him in heaven.

Bible Stories for Kids - Telling the Truth
“David did what? I almost hollered at the youth director who was telling me that David had a man killed so he could have the man’s wife. My picture of David was a sweet shepherd boy who had done incredible things like kill a giant. I was not prepared to face the fact that David was a real person with weaknesses as well as strengths, bad days as well as good ones. Doubt was cast -- how many of the Bible stories that I had heard as a kid were really true?

As I grew older I learned that David was human, not perfect but trying to be what God wanted him to be. Those who had read Bible stories to me at a very young age should not have told me that David had a man killed but they could have told me David was a real man with strengths and weaknesses, with good days and bad days but always searching for the heart of God.
