While Nik and I were in Baltimore we only had a couple of hours to kill, so we headed to south Broadway in the trendy Fells point neighborhood. This is a perfect example of the spots we look for when we’re on the road, cute little parts of town we can both get into, with taverns, boutiques, and yes…comic books. Designed for both iPhone and iPad, Comic Zeal is a brilliant comic book reader that allows you to organize your comic books in to a series, zoom in on content, and upload comics through USB. It’s a solid application with good reviews on iTunes.
Today, Saturday, May 1 (5/1) you can get a at your local store carrying comic books. Stores nationwide give away free comics on the first Saturday in May each year and this Saturday is it! Go HERE to find a store near you.
Completely free, ComicFlow available on iPad is a comic book reader. It supports .cbr, .cbz and PDF files and allows you to upload comic books through USB. ComicFlow is a good free alternative to the paid comic book readers listed above.
