Jeff Sigafoos received his PhD in educational psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1990. Since then he has held academic appointments at the University of Queensland, University of Sydney, and The University of Texas at Austin. He currently holds a Professorship in the College of Education at Victoria University of Wellington and an Adjunct Professorship at James Madison University in Virginia, USA. Professor Sigafoos has authored numerous journal articles, book chapters, books describing the results of his research on educational and behavioural interventions for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. He currently serves on the editorial board of ten scientific journals and is co-editor-in-chief of Evidence-based Communication Assessment and Intervention.
