Dr. Jennifer Mascolo, Psy.D.
Jennifer T. Mascolo, PsyD, NCSP, is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and a Licensed Psychologist in New York and New Jersey. Dr. Mascolo offers direct client services including assessment, consultation, and intervention planning. In conjunction with her goal of bridging assessment and intervention to create meaningful learner outcomes, Dr. Mascolo also offers professional development training and consultation services to school districts and other professionals (e.g., psychologists, teachers, administrators). Since 2002, Dr. Mascolo has taught assessment and consultation at the graduate level and has supervised doctoral and master's level students in fieldwork experiences. Presently, she teaches at Teacher's College, Columbia University. Dr. Mascolo's research interests include intelligence, the relationship between academic and cognitive functioning, and assessing and intervening with specific learning disabilities. Dr. Mascolo has co-authored four books, including the first and second editions of the Achievement Test Desk Reference, Essentials of the WJ III Tests of Cognitive Abilities and Essentials of Planning, Selecting, and Tailoring Interventions for Unique Learners, as well as, several book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles focused on using and interpreting specific cognitive and academic measures as well as assessing, diagnosing, and intervening with specific learning disabilities.
