Meg Bussert teaches Acting and Music Theatre Studies for Vocal Performance. She is a member of Actors' Equity Association, Screen Actors' Guild, and the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists. Her affiliations include the Michael Chekhov Association, the Actors' Work Program, and a founding member in the Musical Theatre Educators Alliance-International in which she has served as the National Vice-President of Conferences for the Musical Theatre Educators Alliance-International (MTEA). Meg has organized the MTEA conferences in Austin, TX in 2011 (University of Texas), the Internalional Conference in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2011 (University of Gothenburg and the Ballettakadeim), in New York City in 2012 (NYU Steinhardt), in St. Louis in 2013 (Webster University), and New York City in 2014 (NYU Steinhardt). As guest arttist faculty in residence, Meg has visited The Arts Academy, University of Ballarat, Australia and the Danish Musical Theatre Academy, Fredericia, DK. She is a specialist in the Michael Chekhov techniques as applied to the singing actor.
