When I began to read the Twilight series I really enjoyed it. I thought the concept was original and while I couldn't stand the main character, Bella, the other characters in the book were likeable. They were quick reads and took me into another world. I found myself sucked into the emotional state of Bella and moped around the house for days as I finished each book (first three at least). I had no idea how Stephanie Meyer could have potentially ended the series, but I think that Breaking Dawn was possibly the worst way she could. Whatever bearable pieces of Bella were left before the beginning of this book, Meyer was sure to remove them. I felt as though the rules set up within the first three books were broken, leaving the storyline unbelievable. Bella is a bratty and weak heroine who gets everything she wants and suffers absolutely no consequences. Breaking Dawn left a bad taste in my mouth and tainted my view of the first three novels.
